Nursing Knowledge: Big Data Science Conference
June 7-9, 2017 | The Commons Hotel, Minneapolis

The conference brings together professionals from nursing practice, education, research, policy and industry to develop and implement a national plan of action to ensure nursing data are captured in electronic health records and that the data are available in sharable, comparable formats for research. The preconference on June 7 will teach participants about using nursing data for big data science and the role it plays in the global agenda for improving health and health care.

The Redwood Area Dementia Awareness Network is sponsoring this event for professionals, caregivers, and interested community members. The cost is $30 for those attending for CEUs and $15 for others and includes morning refreshments and a box lunch.

Presenters will be Debbie Richmond, BS, ACC (VP of Education & Outreach, MD/ND Alzheimer’s Association) and Dr. John Brose (Associated Clinic of Psychology, Co-Creator of the Dementia Care Certificate Program in Minnesota). A panel discussion will follow the presentations.
