Drs. Ingram and Derryck will present information on the palliative care system in South Central Minnesota as well as its efforts to align with evidence-based practices. They will discuss the emerging CARE-FULL Communities and the history of palliative care in the region. The afternoon session will focus upon ethics at the end of life, including the goals of medicine and the efforts to provide the best care possible.
Registration: $100 if registered by June 1, $150 at the door after that date. Students and seniors not requiring CEs may register for $50 if registered by June 1.
Continuing Education: Continuing Education Credits are available for available for multiple disciplines, including Nursing, Social Work, Chaplains, Psychology, Nursing Home Administration, Therapeutic Recreation, Physical Therapy, and Speech Communications. CE certificates are included in the registration cost.
Lunch and break refreshments are included.
